Oman today_ Cristiano Ronaldo has set his sights on reaching 1,000 goals in his professional career. The 40-year-old forward, after scoring two goals for Al-Nassr, now has 956 goals to his name.

Ronaldo has previously played for Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, and Sporting Lisbon, achieving great success in Europe. A return to Europe after four seasons in Saudi Arabia could pose a significant challenge and come as a major shock.

This year, his two goals for Al-Nassr brought his total to 40 goals for the year, and he has now scored more than 40 goals in 14 different calendar years. His most prolific season came in 2013, when he scored 63 goals across all competitions.

Ronaldo maintains exceptional physical condition through a strict training routine that includes Pilates, swimming, cardio, and targeted weight training, dedicating around 3 to 4 hours a day to exercise. His diet consists of six smaller meals throughout the day, ensuring he has enough energy for intense training and multiple matches.

He has emphasized that, barring injury, he is determined to reach the 1,000-goal milestone and intends to continue his professional career.
