Oman today_ Oman Air Cargo has announced the launch of four weekly freight flights from Muscat to Singapore, starting on 2 July 2026. The new route will operate using a Boeing 737 MAX and, given Singapore’s role as a global trading hub, will provide easy access to trade lanes across the Asia-Pacific region while meeting the growing demand on east-west trade routes.

Michael Duggan, Head of Cargo at Oman Air, stated that the new service strengthens Muscat’s position as a key link between the Middle East and Southeast Asia, creating new opportunities for shippers of high-value and time-sensitive goods. The route will focus on specialized cargo, including the import of high-tech consumer products and the export of perishable goods from Oman.

In addition, the new service will increase capacity for cargo coming from Europe, with a focus on perishables such as flowers from Amsterdam, alongside automotive parts and fashion goods. This expansion follows the appointment of five new General Sales Agents and the launch of two offline routes to Australia and Japan by Oman Air Cargo, highlighting the company’s continued growth of its international freight network.
