Oman today_ Sohrab Azad, Vice President of the Asian Sepak Takraw Federation (ASTAF), served as a member of the judging panel for the Sepak Takraw competitions at the Southeast Asian Games held in Bangkok.

Considered a key figure in the development and promotion of the sport across the region, Azad has played a significant role over the years in strengthening technical management, supporting new member countries, and expanding Sepak Takraw beyond its traditional boundaries.

His participation in the event reflects ASTAF’s ongoing commitment to raising competition standards and ensuring fair and experienced officiating at major tournaments.

The competitions began on December 7 and will continue until December 21 in Bangkok, featuring athletes from 11 countries.
