Oman today_ The Sultanate of Oman has rapidly localized high-quality industries using modern technologies and significantly expanded its production capacity, earning widespread international recognition, according to the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) report for 2026.
The report highlights Oman as one of the emerging countries in the industrial sector.
Investors are being offered incentives, and fully equipped industrial sites are made available to them, making the investment process simpler and faster.
At the same time, the Ministry of Industry is implementing programs to support and develop local suppliers, enabling them to play a key role in the supply chain, enhance local value and content, and prepare national products for competition in regional and global markets.
Engineer Jasim bin Saif Al-Jaidi emphasized that Oman’s consecutive industrial successes have transformed the country’s advanced manufacturing outlook and solidified its position as a significant and promising industrial hub in the region, fully aligned with the objectives of the “Industrial Strategy 2040” and “Oman Vision 2040.”
