Oman today_ According to the latest “Numbeo” Global Quality of Life Index report for the first half of 2025, the Sultanate of Oman has secured the top spot among countries in Asia and the Middle East.
This ranking is based on direct assessments and opinions from residents, reflecting citizens’ perspectives on the living conditions in their own countries.
Oman achieved a score of 215.1, placing it well ahead of other regional nations. Qatar ranked second with 189.4 points, followed by the United Arab Emirates with 174.2 and Saudi Arabia with 173.7 points.
The “Numbeo” Index is the world’s largest global database for evaluating quality of life. It does not rely solely on official statistics but also incorporates personal evaluations from participants and residents. The index considers essential factors such as safety and security, cost of living relative to income, quality of healthcare services, and other key indicators of well-being, providing a comprehensive and realistic picture of living conditions in cities and countries around the world.
