Oman today_ Today, Italy is considered one of the world’s most advanced industrial nations. In addition to its significant development in machinery, chemical, and petrochemical industries, the country has also achieved notable progress in agriculture and livestock production. With the production of over 400 types of traditional and industrial cheeses, Italy ranks fourth in the world in cheese production, after the United States, Germany, and France. As one of the eight leading industrial countries globally, Italy is the fifth most populous nation in Europe and the twenty-third most populous in the world. The production of renowned and flavorful cheeses, including Mascarpone, highlights Italy’s success in the food industry.
Mascarpone cheese is rich in vitamins A and B, and high in calcium and sodium, though it is low in iron. According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), consuming around 100 grams of this cheese per day does not meet the daily requirements for potassium and iron. This is mainly due to its high fat content and creamy texture, which make it a flavorful alternative to butter and cream. However, excessive consumption of Mascarpone is not recommended for children, the elderly, or people with low physical activity.
