Oman today_ Tiwi Beach is located on the eastern coast of Oman, near the village of Tiwi, approximately 170 kilometers south of Muscat along Highway 17 toward the city of Sur. The beach features a striking combination of natural sand and pebbles with turquoise waters, offering a scenic and tranquil environment. Since it is still relatively uncrowded, visitors can enjoy a peaceful, untouched natural setting. Activities include swimming in calm waters, snorkeling, and capturing the picturesque landscapes through photography. The drive from Muscat to Tiwi Beach takes around 2 to 2.5 hours. Facilities at the site are limited, so it is recommended to bring water, sunscreen, and appropriate footwear for the pebbles. The best time to visit is during the cooler months from October to March for a more comfortable and enjoyable experience at this beautiful beach.
