Oman today_ Renowned magazine People has named British actor Jonathan Bailey as the Sexiest Man Alive for 2025, marking the 40th anniversary of the magazine’s annual selection. The announcement was made on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
The 27-year-old actor learned about the honor earlier this year while performing in William Shakespeare’s “Richard II.”
Bailey first rose to international fame for his role as Lord Anthony Bridgerton in Netflix’s hit series “Bridgerton.” In recent years, he has appeared in several major film projects, including the musical “Wicked,” in which he portrays Prince Fiyero, and “Jurassic World: Rebirth,” where he plays Dr. Henry Loomis.
The first recipient of People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” title was Mel Gibson in 1985. Since then, the honor has been awarded to numerous notable figures, including Patrick Dempsey, Chris Evans, Paul Rudd, Michael B. Jordan, John Legend, and John Krasinski.
