Oman today_ Duqm Rock Garden is located in Oman’s Al Wusta Governorate, approximately 540 to 600 kilometers from the city of Muscat, at coordinates 19°38′ N 57°39′ E. It is one of Oman’s most significant geological sites, covering an area of about six square kilometers and featuring unusual limestone and sandstone rock formations shaped over millions of years by wind, water, and other natural forces. Some of these rocks are estimated to be 40 to 46 million years old. The area is relatively remote, with limited facilities, so visitors should come prepared with necessary equipment and plan their trip carefully. Access may require permission from the Special Economic Zone Authority at Duqm (SEZAD). Duqm Rock Garden is an ideal destination for nature enthusiasts, geology lovers, photographers, and anyone seeking a unique and off-the-beaten-path experience.
