Oman today_ Iran’s U-23 team secured a place in the final stage of the AFC U-23 Asian Cup after a 3-2 victory over the UAE at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi, finishing with a perfect 9 points.
In the first half, Iran took a 3-1 lead with goals from Amir Mohammad Razaghinia and two strikes from Saeed Saharkhizan, one of which came from the penalty spot. The UAE managed to cut the deficit to one goal in the second half, but Iran held firm to protect their advantage.
This marked Iran’s third consecutive win, securing the top spot in their group and highlighting the team’s strong performance in both attack and defense.
