Oman today_ The Royal Army of Oman (RAO) band secured first place in the overall ranking of the Infantry and Military Discipline Competition held in Scotland. The band also won the award for the best non-British band in the Bridge of Allan competition.
In the individual baton-bearing contest, Staff Sergeant Nader Jumaan Bait Jabali achieved second place, while Warrant Officer Mohammed Khamis Al Amri claimed third place in the third stage of the event.
Meanwhile, the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) band delivered an outstanding performance in the bagpipes and drums competition. As part of the Grade Four category of the World Music Competition held in Bridge of Allan, the RAFO band earned first place among seven participating international bands.
