In the final match, Poland secured a dominant 3–0 victory over Italy to lift the trophy. In the third-place playoff, Brazil, under the guidance of coach Rezende, defeated Slovenia to secure the bronze medal.
Alessandro Michieletto, the 23-year-old, 2.11-meter-tall Italian player, emerged as the standout star of the tournament, excelling in three categories: scoring, attacking, and serving. With a total of 50 points, he was the top scorer of the final stage.
In the best attacker category, Brazil’s Alan Souza led with 40 points. Slovenia’s Jan Kozamernik claimed the title of best blocker with 8 points. Michieletto also topped the serving chart with 7 aces. Brazil’s Fernando Gil Kreling was named the best setter of the final stage, while Italy’s Fabio Balaso was recognized as the best receiver.
