Oman today_ AC Milan has announced that Theo Hernández has officially joined Saudi club Al Hilal on a permanent transfer. The deal, finalized after months of negotiations, will bring Milan over €30 million, while Hernández is set to earn a salary exceeding €20 million per year.
Earlier, there were rumors about a potential return to Atlético Madrid, but Milan’s high asking price prevented the move. Now, with his transfer to the Saudi league, Hernández’s place in the French national team appears uncertain—especially given Lucas Digne’s strong recent performances and Didier Deschamps’ cautious history when it comes to selecting players based outside Europe.
France’s upcoming national team camps in September, October, and November will likely determine the international future of the 27-year-old defender.
