Oman today_ The Fourth Takatuf Gulf Exhibition for Small and Medium Enterprises was inaugurated under the patronage of Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of the Oman Investment Authority (OIA), with the presence of senior officials from both the government and private sectors.
The exhibition is held in strategic partnership with the Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development and the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It features active participation from a variety of businesses, including boutiques, textiles, accessories, cosmetics, health products, food, and more.
The main objective of the exhibition is to promote innovation and support entrepreneurship. This event provides small and medium-sized enterprises with an opportunity to showcase their latest products, while allowing entrepreneurs to exchange ideas and learn from one another’s experiences.
This year’s exhibition displayed a wide range of products, including fashion, fabrics, perfumes, incense, accessories, and skincare items, perfect for special occasions like Eid al-Adha and other celebrations.
Additionally, educational opportunities for students were provided through a collaboration with the Oman College of Tourism, focusing on event management training. This initiative highlights the importance of enhancing practical and experiential skills for young people. A free camp will also be held after the exhibition for participating entrepreneurs and business owners, aimed at developing their business skills and facilitating experience-sharing.
The exhibition not only provides a platform for promoting and developing small and medium-sized businesses, but also strengthens regional cooperation and contributes to the development of the local economy. The Takatuf Gulf Exhibition is recognized as one of the most important entrepreneurial events in the region, playing a significant role in the economic advancement of the Gulf countries.
