Oman today_ The 29th edition of the Muscat International Book Fair officially opened on April 24, 2025, at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. This major cultural event was held under the patronage of Dr. Fahd bin Al-Jandan Al-Saeed, Vice President of Sultan Qaboos University.
Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah and a member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates, attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition and, along with Omani officials, including Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Harasi, the Minister of Information of Oman, inaugurated the fair.
During the ceremony, the new book by the Ruler of Sharjah, which includes his cultural and literary works, was introduced. This book, which promotes global culture and knowledge, attracted the attention of many fair attendees.
The Muscat Book Fair will continue until May 3, 2025, serving as a platform for cultural and intellectual exchange on a global scale.
