Oman today_ Oman has been recognized as the 8th best country in the world for road quality. According to the latest report published by the World Population Review in collaboration with the World Economic Forum (WEF), Oman achieved this position in the global road quality index. This index is an important component of the Global Competitiveness Index, which evaluates countries based on a score ranging from 1 to 7. A score of 1 indicates very poor road quality, while a score of 7 reflects very high-quality infrastructure.
In this report, Iran earned a score of 3.91, placing it 71st out of 140 countries worldwide.
In the list of the top 10 countries with the best roads, Singapore ranks first, followed by Switzerland, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Portugal, Japan, France, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and Austria in subsequent positions.
On the other hand, the 10 countries with the worst roads, known for their poor quality, include Mauritania, Haiti, Angola, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Yemen, Chad, Guinea, Mozambique, Nigeria, and Lesotho, which are ranked at the bottom of the global scale.
