Oman today_ Cristiano Ronaldo, the 40-year-old Portuguese forward for Al-Nassr, is preparing for a new chapter in his professional life after football, with one of his major plans being a foray into the world of cinema. Vin Diesel, the well-known actor from the “Fast & Furious” franchise, shared a photo with Ronaldo and announced that a special role has been created for him in the upcoming installment of the series.

The eleventh installment, tentatively titled “Fast Forever,” will mark the conclusion of this beloved franchise, which began in 2001. With the film scheduled for release in 2026, Ronaldo now has the opportunity to kick off his acting career with this major project.

Earlier, in April 2025, Ronaldo launched his own film studio, UR.MARV, alongside British director and producer Matthew Vaughn. The studio focuses on combining sports and filmmaking and has already produced two films, with a third project currently in progress. Ronaldo and Vaughn have also promised that prominent Hollywood stars will be involved in these projects.

Speaking about Ronaldo’s involvement in the franchise, Vin Diesel said, “Everyone was asking if he would be part of the ‘Fast & Furious’ world. I have to say, he’s amazing, and we’ve written a special role for him.”

With the 2026 World Cup approaching and Ronaldo’s stellar performance this season, even a brief but impactful appearance in the film could mark the beginning of his acting journey and serve as another step in expanding his global fame.
