Oman today_ The Ajarlee app is the first homegrown car rental platform in Oman, allowing users to book a car in just a few taps on their mobile phones. With this app, there is no need for phone calls or in-person visits to rental offices.
Initially, traditional car rental offices were somewhat hesitant, but after seeing the actual results, many of them placed their trust in the digital system. The project has received support from the Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (ASMED) and investment from the ITHCA Group, and it has now been showcased at major technology events in the region, including COMEX in Muscat and Bibaan in Saudi Arabia.
In the future, digital insurance services and monthly subscription packages will also be added to the app, with plans to expand it to Gulf markets.
The app demonstrates how technology and innovation can make everyday life easier and streamline financial and transportation services.
