Oman today_ Yesterday, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran hosted the Minister of Interior of Oman at the Presidential Headquarters in Tehran. During the meeting, the Omani Minister conveyed the warm and sincere greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the President and the people of Iran, expressing hopes for the continued progress and development of the country.
In response, the President of Iran asked the Minister to convey his own respectful greetings and best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan, wishing him enduring health and continued prosperity for the people of Oman.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the strong bilateral relations between Iran and Oman and discussed ways to expand cooperation across various fields to serve their mutual interests.
From the Omani side, the Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Operations and the Head of the GCC and Regional Neighbourhood Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs attended. Representing Iran, the Minister of Interior participated in the meeting.
