This festival, an independent section of the Rome International Film Festival, is held each year to showcase innovative and human-centered works by emerging filmmakers, providing a platform to introduce bold new talents.
This year, Raha, directed by Hesam Farahmand, received a warm reception from European audiences and succeeded in taking home the festival’s prestigious award.
Ghazal Shakeri, the film’s lead actress, attended the event alongside the production team. She wore a dress featuring Iranian patterns, whose intricate traditional motifs made her look distinctive and eye-catching.
