Oman today_ For the first time in the Middle East, the British fashion house Vivienne Westwood showcased a unique collection of its creations during Riyadh Fashion Week. In this event, Westwood’s precise, structured tailoring was seamlessly combined with delicate details and embellishments inspired by Saudi culture.
The collaboration with the Art of Heritage institute provided an opportunity for Westwood’s design team, alongside a group of Saudi artists, to create hand-embroidered, bespoke garments that reimagined traditional artistic skills with a modern, global perspective. In addition to this collection, sections of Westwood’s historical archive and her Spring/Summer 2026 designs were also displayed at the exhibition.
Alongside the exhibition, nearly 100 Saudi fashion students participated in an educational session with Westwood’s designers, gaining valuable insights into the brand’s philosophy of creativity and design and learning directly from the legacy of this legendary fashion house.
