Oman today_ UEFA today unveiled the new Champions League balls for the 2025/26 season, featuring official versions for both men’s and women’s competitions, incorporating several innovative features.

The men’s ball design draws inspiration from the beauty of the night sky, while the women’s ball is inspired by the aurora borealis and deep space. Both designs pay tribute to the iconic Champions League stars, featuring gold stars on a white background and hand-drawn zodiac symbols representing the achievements and destinies of champions. These balls have been designed specifically for the men’s final in Budapest and the women’s final in Oslo.

In terms of performance, the new balls have been tested in wind tunnels. The Prisma surface with its distinctive texture enhances shot accuracy and impact, while the textured outer layer improves grip and control. The seamless construction, sealed using thermal technology, increases durability and maintains consistent performance. The CTR-CORE maintains stability, featuring an air bladder made from renewable natural rubber. Two layers of polyester fabric ensure the ball retains its shape and strength.

In addition to high performance, these balls are designed to be environmentally sustainable. They incorporate recycled polyester, water-based inks, and, for the first time, a higher percentage of bio-based materials such as corn fibers, sugarcane, wood pulp, and natural rubber, reducing environmental impact without compromising quality. The new balls are now available on the market for football enthusiasts.
