Oman today_ The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Muscat strongly condemns the attacks of the Zionist regime on our nation and informs all Iranian nationals as follows:
According to the Civil Aviation Organization, Iranian airspace remains closed until further notice, and no flights are operating to or from Iran. However, it is possible to return to the country via land borders with neighboring countries such as Turkey (Bazargan border) and Armenia (Norduz border).
The embassy is actively pursuing and negotiating with Omani officials to identify possible solutions for the expedited return of Iranian nationals to the country.
Waiver of Overstay Penalties
Thanks to ongoing efforts, the Omani government has agreed to waive penalties for Iranian nationals whose legal residency expired on or after June 13, 2025.
Iranian nationals are kindly requested to refrain from visiting the embassy or Muscat Airport in person. Instead, they should register through the emergency WhatsApp number provided below:
