Oman today_ A direct shipping line between Chabahar Port in Iran and Sultan Qaboos Port in Muscat, Oman, will soon begin operations. This project is being carried out with the cooperation of Falcon Company, the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines, and Asyad Ports of Oman, with the support of the Chabahar Free Zone Organization and the government of Sistan and Baluchestan Province.
This shipping line is designed for the transportation of both cargo and passengers, utilizing cargo, passenger, and container ships. The primary goal of this project is to strengthen trade and tourism relations between Iran and Oman. The first voyage of this maritime route is scheduled to take place in May this year.
Asyad Ports, which manages Sultan Qaboos Port and other key ports in Oman, plays a crucial role in developing the logistical infrastructure for this project. These collaborations will facilitate the movement of traders, investors, and tourists, while also enhancing economic interactions and improving the region’s welfare.
This shipping line represents an important step in the development of maritime trade and tourism and the attraction of foreign investment for both countries.
