Oman today_ One of the most captivating stories in recent days has been about Melbourne Fashion Week, where the brand Aline Al’s unveiled one of the most unique wedding dresses in the world. This bridal gown, weighing 150 kilograms, was designed using 96,762 Swarovski crystals and has been in the making since 2019.

This extraordinary dress, regarded more as a piece of art than a practical garment, presented numerous challenges due to its immense weight. During the catwalk, the lower part of the dress had to be held by two assistants to maintain balance. According to the designer, this wedding dress is the only one of its kind in the world, featuring such an extensive amount of precious crystals. Its initial cost in 2019 was estimated at $1 million, but its value has significantly increased over time due to the rising cost of materials and its entirely hand-crafted nature.

Every aspect of the dress, from sewing the crystals to preparing the fabric, was meticulously done by hand without any use of machinery. The designer emphasized that this masterpiece was created primarily to showcase their craftsmanship and artistic vision, rather than to serve as a practical wedding dress for a ceremony.
