If the moon is sighted on this date, Ramadan will end after 29 days, and the official holidays will begin on Sunday, March 30, continuing until Tuesday, April 1. Including the weekend holidays on Friday and Saturday, this break will total five days.
If the moon is not sighted on March 29, Ramadan will extend to 30 days, and the official holidays will still commence on Sunday, March 30, but will continue until Wednesday, April 2. With the addition of the weekend, this period will amount to six days. The final holiday dates will be officially announced following the Moon Sighting Committee’s meeting.
