Oman today_ Demand for alcoholic beverages has seen a significant decline worldwide, as people gradually shift toward healthier choices and more balanced lifestyles. A major beverage company recently reported a 56% increase in sales of its non-alcoholic products.
In the UAE, the establishment of the first specialized company producing non-alcoholic beverages occurred at a time when options in this sector were extremely limited. The company’s founder, who did not consume alcoholic drinks himself, initially had modest expectations for success and even planned to gift the products to his friends in case the venture failed. However, contrary to his predictions, the demand for these products exceeded all expectations, and since 2021, the market has continued to grow steadily.
According to estimates, the non-alcoholic beverage market in the UAE is projected to grow by 3.8% annually over the next four years, with revenues expected to reach approximately $94.6 million by 2025. With increasing awareness of healthy living and a shift in lifestyle trends, this market is set to expand further, signaling a promising future.
