Oman today_ The total number of passengers traveling through Oman’s airports by the end of January 2025 exceeded 1.3 million, with a total of 8,983 flights recorded. At Muscat International Airport, 1.2 million passengers were transported, including 1.1 million international passengers and 90,000 domestic passengers, reflecting a 7% decrease. The highest number of passengers were Indian, Omani, and Pakistani nationals.
At Salalah Airport, the number of passengers increased by 5%, reaching 126,506. Additionally, Duqm Airport handled 4,774 domestic passengers on 52 flights.
These statistics highlight the significance of air transport in Oman and the crucial role airports play in facilitating both domestic and international passenger movement.
