Oman today_ Oman’s Ministry of Heritage and Tourism has launched its 2025 promotional strategy aimed at strengthening the country’s presence in international markets. The strategy includes participation in 15 major tourism exhibitions across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, such as ITB Berlin, ATM Dubai, and WTM London. Additionally, targeted promotional workshops will be held in the GCC, East Asia, and Europe to build stronger ties with industry partners and showcase Omani tourism products.
Haitham bin Mohammed al Ghassani, Director General of Tourism Promotion, highlighted the importance of these international events in positioning Oman as a premier travel destination. These efforts align with Oman Vision 2040, focusing on developing the tourism sector to diversify the national economy. Beyond attracting tourists, the strategy also emphasizes increasing investment in the tourism industry.
