Oman today_ Nasser Hejazi was named the greatest goalkeeper in Asian football history by Mad Football as part of the All-Time Asian Football XI. Previously, the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) had also recognized him as the best goalkeeper of the 20th century in Asia. Hejazi’s remarkable achievements include two AFC Asian Cup titles, a gold medal at the Asian Games, appearances in the FIFA World Cup and the Olympics, as well as winning the Asian Club Championship with Esteghlal. These accomplishments have secured his place as a legendary figure in football history.
