Oman today_ After more than a century, Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh has been published in Italian once again, in its complete form. Italo Pizzi was the first to translate this timeless Persian masterpiece into Italian in the late 19th century. The new edition has been revised by Professor Simone Cristoforti from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, who, while preserving conceptual accuracy, has made the Shahnameh accessible and engaging for contemporary readers.

The Italian edition is presented in six volumes, totaling 4,112 pages, and includes a 16-page supplement featuring reproductions of renowned miniatures related to the stories of the Shahnameh.
