Oman today_ The nominees for the 53rd Annie Awards have been announced, with Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters and Pixar’s Elio leading the pack with 10 nominations each.
These two films, along with Little Amélie or the Character of Rain, The Bad Guys 2, and Zootopia 2, are competing for Best Animated Feature. All of these titles have also received nominations in the Best Character Animation category for feature films. Additionally, Elio, KPop Demon Hunters, Little Amélie or the Character of Rain, Scarlet, and Zootopia 2 are contending for Best Writing.
In the television category, Pixar’s miniseries Win or Lose earned six nominations, including Best Miniseries, while Nickelodeon’s Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles received three nominations.
The 53rd Annie Awards ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2026.
