Oman today_ Wadi Al Khoudh, located near the old village of Al Khoudh in the Muscat Governorate of Oman, is one of the largest wadis in the country and is only about 20 minutes away from central Muscat. After heavy rains, the wadi transforms into natural pools of crystal-clear water, surrounded by stunning rocky cliffs and unique rock formations, offering a different and breathtaking experience of Oman’s nature. The approximate access route is via Route 15, passing by Sultan Qaboos University; after exiting toward the village of Al Khoudh and following the village road, you will reach the parking area and the entrance to the wadi. For certain sections of the visit, a 4×4 vehicle is recommended as the terrain can be uneven. For those who enjoy lesser-known natural spots, peaceful surroundings, and an off-the-beaten-path experience, Wadi Al Khoudh is one of the best options for a half-day adventure in Oman.
