This film marks Mahnaz Afshar’s first appearance on the big screen since leaving Iran. She plays the role of Hava, an Iranian journalist who, after migrating, is compelled to take a job working in a café. Opposite her, Kaweh Ahangar portrays an artificial intelligence named Rona, with whom Hava engages in ongoing conversations.
Mehdi Soudagaran, the director of “November Appointment”, was born in 1980 in Iran. He is recognized as an Iranian-German filmmaker, writer, and journalist. Known as an independent filmmaker, his latest work addresses the theme of human loneliness and falls within the category of artistic cinema.
Among the cast, Kaweh Ahangar also stands out. He has a background in both acting and directing in Iran, and one of his most notable roles was portraying the teenage years of Dr. Mohammad Gharib in the television series “Roozegar Gharib” directed by Kianoush Ayari.
