Oman today_ Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, has successfully won the prestigious APEX WORLD CLASS™ 2026 award for the second consecutive year. This award, presented by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX)—the largest international organization dedicated to airline passengers—is recognized as the highest standard of passenger service excellence in the aviation industry. Airlines are evaluated across multiple dimensions of the passenger experience, including cabin space, comfort, personalized attention, food quality and presentation, and other aspects of travel experience.

Renata Rached, Vice President of Guest Experience, Loyalty & Brand at Oman Air, who received the award at the APEX Global Expo in California, said:

To qualify for the APEX WORLD CLASS™ award, airlines must undergo a comprehensive audit across 20 different dimensions that matter most to today’s travelers. These dimensions include brand consistency, passenger engagement, intensity of hospitality, service personalization, travel comfort, connectivity, and food and beverage quality. Audits are conducted by industry experts from YATES+ and then validated by the governing board and peer reviewers.

Since receiving the 2025 award, Oman Air has continued to refine its services and customer experience initiatives. The airline recently implemented a Net Promoter Score (NPS) feedback system, allowing it to monitor and optimize every touchpoint throughout the passenger journey. Additionally, in June, Oman Air was recognized at the APEX 2025 Awards, winning accolades for Best Food & Beverage and Best Cabin Service in the Middle East.
