Oman today_ The Embassy of Thailand in Muscat, together with the Tourism Authority and the Thai Trade Office, Thai companies, and the Thai community residing in Oman, has invited all citizens and residents of Oman to attend the annual “Thailand in Oman 2025” festival. The event continues until tomorrow, Saturday, August 30, at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, Ground Floor (Atrium). Admission is free for the public, and the program is organized by Almustaqf Business.
Visitors can enjoy Thai films including Gift, Under the Wings of a Dream, and A Letter from the Sun, as well as follow performances by the “Brent Thailand” group. These performances feature nine cultural programs, including Lanna Voices, Bangkok Joy, Southern Breeze, Wonders of Thailand, Candle Lighting in Chiang Mai, Flavors of Isaan, Pink Lotus, Loy Krathong Sukhothai, and the Songkran Water Festival.
Attendees can also taste authentic and popular Thai dishes such as Pad Thai, Tom Yum Kung soup, Papaya Salad (Som Tam), along with traditional Thai desserts and ice cream. Additionally, a “Do-It-Yourself” workshop on painting Busang umbrellas and entertaining activities for children are being held.
The festival hours today, Friday, August 29, are from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and the final day of the festival is Saturday, August 30, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Admission is free, and the event takes place at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, Ground Floor (Atrium).
