Oman today_ FIFA has announced that Alireza Faghani has been selected as one of the referees for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. No longer listed among Iran’s international referees, he will now represent the Australian Football Federation in this competition.
Faghani has previously officiated in the 2018 and 2022 World Cups, and he also refereed the third-place match between England and Belgium in the 2018 World Cup.
