Oman today_ The release date for The Angry Birds Movie 3 has been announced. The new animated film from Rovio Entertainment and Dena is set to hit theaters on January 29, 2027 (9th of Bahman, 1405).
The first two films in the series, based on the popular game Angry Birds, were released in 2016 and 2019, earning over $500 million in worldwide box office revenue. Sony Pictures was responsible for distributing these films.
In the third installment, the main voice cast members, including Jason Sudeikis (as Red), Josh Gad (Chuck), Rachel Bloom (Silver), and Danny McBride (Bomb), will return. Additionally, a group of new voice actors, including Emma Myers, Keke Palmer, Tim Robinson, Lily James, Marcelo Hernandez, Walker Scobell, Sam Richardson, Anna Cathcart, Nikki Glaser, James Austin Johnson, and Meetri Ramakrishnan, will join the project.
The film will again be directed by John Rice, who directed the second film. The screenplay has been written by Torup Van Orman, who worked on the second film as well. The producers include John Cohen (The Garfield Movie), Dan Chuba (The Mitchells vs. The Machines), and Turo Nakahara (Sonic the Hedgehog). Grammy-winning composer Heitor Pereira, known for his work on Despicable Me, will return to compose the soundtrack for The Angry Birds Movie 3.
