Oman today_ Chunks of the world’s purest ice, harvested from Greenland’s glaciers, have arrived in Dubai after a 20,000-kilometer journey and will soon be used in the city’s beverages. These ice pieces, extracted from a 22-ton block of crystal-clear ice, have been processed and packaged at a facility in the Al Quoz area of Dubai.
The packaging of this ice is uniquely designed, featuring triangular boxes inspired by the colors of the sky. Additionally, special gift boxes have been introduced for Ramadan. The ice will be available at a price of 249 AED for six pieces.
It is claimed that this ice does not alter the taste of beverages, and its special structure allows it to last longer in drinks.
