Oman today_ Oman Air, in response to the needs of today’s travelers, has launched a new fleet of all-Economy Class aircraft under the name “Oman Air Connect.” This fleet consists of five Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, with the first one recently added to the fleet. These aircraft will primarily operate to destinations in the Indian Subcontinent, the Middle East, and Africa, expanding the airline’s existing network. Along with these changes, Oman Air is updating its in-flight entertainment system to offer a more modern experience for passengers. Con Korfiatis, CEO of Oman Air, emphasized that with this new fleet, passengers will have more affordable and diverse travel options, while still enjoying comfort and service quality. Oman Air, which began a three-year financial transformation in 2023, continues to serve over 40 destinations and strengthen its position in the market.
