Oman today_ Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), one of the world’s largest IT companies and a subsidiary of India’s Tata Group, is set to inaugurate its official office in Oman on February 24. This marks TCS’s first full-fledged presence in Oman, having previously offered its services through partners.
With over 25 years of experience in the Middle East and Africa and operations in more than 50 countries, TCS provides a wide range of services, including software development, IT infrastructure management, and digital solutions. The company employs nearly 10,000 people across the region, with 3,000 of them based in Riyadh.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, TCS retained all its employees and prioritized their safety, commending the resilience of its Saudi women employees who played a vital role in maintaining operations. The opening of the Oman office underscores TCS’s commitment to expanding its presence and leveraging economic opportunities in the region.
