Oman today_ The Maqshin Hospital in Dhofar Governorate was inaugurated as part of the strategic goals of the health sector in Oman Vision 2040, aimed at providing specialized healthcare services and decentralizing healthcare across various regions. The hospital, built on an area of approximately 1,884 square meters, is designed to enhance healthcare services for the residents of Maqshin and three neighboring villages.
The hospital includes general medical services, specialized clinics, a delivery room, radiology, laboratory, pharmacy, and other support services. With 24 beds and the potential for expansion, it provides healthcare services to the local population across various departments, including male and female wards, maternity and post-delivery care, observation areas, and a recovery room. The inauguration ceremony was attended by health ministry officials and local authorities at the office of the Wali of Maqshin.
